Retouching Services

Retouching images is quite fascinating and often misunderstood art. Fascinating due to magnificent results when compared against its original counterpart;Misunderstood because in the media it is often regarded as a way to hide certain truths ranging from unwanted body hair to body fat.

What makes retouching images so interesting is that anyone can do it. If you have a computer,an internet connection and a growing ability to research online, you will be better at retouching images than those who aren’t so good at finding out things by themselves. It really doesn’t matter what your background is when it comes to retouching images. What matters is your passion for improving existing images.

Before retouching images one must ask:If I am going to display the images on my website or blog, where do I source such images? This is important because you will need expressed, written permission from image copyright holders before you can show their images on your site/blog. Image retouchers always make the mistake of displaying ‘before’and ‘after’images and although they may think that they own the right to display these images they couldn’t have been more wrong. In fact, when retouching images,it doesn’t matter how much time you have spend on it if the actualy image does not belong to you.

When retouching images, the right approach is to contact the copyright owner which is usually the photographer,or quite simply just source your own retouching images by taking photos yourself. In fact, sourcing your own photos is actually since you can retouch your own images and show the world the difference between the two,not to mention a fine sense of accomplishment.

Another thing to note when retouching images and sourcing them is this:whatever you do,do not save images that you found in search engine result pages or other websites and display them on your website. If you really have to,then ask for permission as they are not retouching images belonging to you. And if that is not possible, then the very least you can do is to mention the copyright holder’s name clearly on the image.

Goodluck in retouching images by yourself but if you can’t be asked, leave retouching images to the professionals and upload your image here.
